Videonale 12 - FINISSAGE: Sunday, April 26th 2009 in the Kunstmuseum Bonn

On Sunday the 26th of April 2009, the Videonale is celebrating its last exhibition day with a special Finnisage.

The program for this day is as follows:

11 a.m.:       Open guided tour with Georg Elben, director of the Videonale

In the auditorium of the Kunstmuseum:

1 p.m.:        Presentation of the art mediation project "Die Auserwählten-GenerationArchivVideonale" with participants of the project and the initiators Birgit Bertram and Tasja Langenbach.

3 p.m.:          Presentation with media artist Candice Breitz

 Candice Breitz, the media artist from South Africa (now living in Berlin) gained international critical acclaim with her photo- and video-installations. Her works often deal with celebrity cult and mass-culture and their reflection in society. Candice Breitz will introduce and present her newest works.
