The concept for an exhibition of “Videonale: Dialogue in Contemporary Video Art” first originated with the Videonale in Bonn, Germany, first held in 1984, and now in its 13th iteration. The exhibition was a pioneer in the genre. As a continuous, established art exhibition, Videonale has borne witness to points of transition in the history of video art.

Für die Elektronenströme im November verlässt die Videonale einmal das Kunstmuseum Bonn und präsentiert in Kooperation mit dem Filmmusikfestival SoundTrack_Cologne 8.0 für einen Abend den belgischen Filmemacher und Komponisten Thierry De Mey in Köln.

Mittwoch, den 26. Oktober um 19.00h im Auditorium des Kunstmuseums Bonn

 

NUMBER FIVE: CITIES OF GOLD AND MIRRORS lautet der Titel der aktuellen Neupräsentation der Julia Stoschek Collection in Düsseldorf. Die 44 Werke von insgesamt 35 KünstlerInnen umfassende Ausstellung dokumentiert bisher noch nie gezeigte Arbeiten, Neuerwerbungen der letzten Jahre sowie ortsspezifische, räumliche Interventionen. Für jede Arbeit wurde eine sorgfältig durchdachte Präsentationsarchitektur initiiert. 
Statt einer thematischen Zusammenstellung verfolgt die Konzeption der Ausstellung verschiedene inhaltliche Stränge und spiegelt aktuelle Themen der zeitgenössischen Kunstproduktion wider.
