On invitation of the University of Arts in Bucharest and the Goethe Institut Bucharest Videonale presents a selection of works by artists of past Videonale editions.



Videonale as guest at LUX Projection Festival in Bremen

At Bremen’s first LUX Projection Festival, Videonale Bonn is proud to present 13 works from previous Videonale editions at Geschichtenhaus Vegesack.


VIDEONALE.16 on Tour in Vilnius '17

After our first Videonale.16 on Tour presentation at the Athens Digital Arts Festival (May 18-21 2017), we’re – already for the second time – invited to Vilnius, Lithuania. ArtVilnius’17 will host us at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO from June 8-11 2017 with an exhibition of 13 works of the Videonale.16 selection. 



VIDEONALE.16 on Tour in Athens '17

A selection of six works of VIDEONALE.16 will be presented at this years’ Athens Digital Arts Festival (May 18-21 2017), Athens, Greece.


The following artists will be part of the program: Lotte Meret Effinger, Randa Maroufi, Stefan Panhans, Lucy Pawlak, Julia Scher, Susanne Wiegner



Videonale in Lagos

Videonale Bonn, and Video Art Network (VAN), Lagos, join forces to present the project ‘Videonale in Lagos: Changing City – Shifting Spaces’. The project is an initiative of KfW Stiftung which wishes to contribute to the ongoing development of new media artistic practice in Nigeria by supporting local up-and-coming talents in establishing international contacts. It is realised in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Nigeria and the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA), Lagos.



Videonale on Tour at Filmfest Braunschweig

In the context of Filmfest Braunschweig Videonale presents a selection of earlier festival contributions which approach diverse social, psychic and natural conditions by a strong representation of the bodily. 



VIDEONALE.15 on Tour in São Paulo '15

ARTEMOVENDO presents selected contemporary video art with an emphasis on Germany, Brazil and Switzerland. The Goethe Institute Porto Alegre invited the curators Ludwig Seyfarth, Berlin and Bernardo de Souza, Porto Alegre/Rio de Janeiro to develop the concept. The first ARTEMOVENDO in 2015 will be held simultaneously in Porto Alegre and in São Paulo with the title “The Hidden Soul of the Unanimated”.



VIDEONALE.15 on Tour in Vilnius '15

A selection of works out of VIDEONALE.15‘s exhibition programme will be presented at ARTVILNIUS’15 (June 25-28 2015) in Vilnius, Lithuania.



VIDEONALE.15 on Tour in Athens '15

Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) is an International Festival which celebrates digital culture through an annual gathering bringing together a global community of artists and audiences. Athens Digital Arts Festival aims to encourage, stimulate and promote all aspects of digital creativity by hosting local as well as international artists and communities. As part of the programme of this years’ Athens Digital Arts Festival a selection of video works of VIDEONALE.15 will be presented on May 24, 2015 in Athens, Greece.



VIDEONALE.14 on Tour in Mexico

For the second time, Videonale has been invited to Mexico:



in Baja California, Mexico.


A video programme with works by Helen Benigson, Eli Cortiñas, Charles Fairbanks, Toby Huddlestone, Laleh Khorramian and Mauricio Limón will be shown repeatedly every day of the festival.
