The 17th edition of Videonale will take place at Kunstmuseum Bonn from Feb 22nd to April 15th 2019.

The 16th edition of Videonale – Festival for Video and Time-Based Arts took place at Kunstmuseum Bonn and diverse places in the city of Bonn from February 17th to April 4th, 2017.

In the exhibition 43 positions of international video art were presented over the course of six weeks. The exhibition was accompanied by a 4-day festival and discourse program as well as the three-weeks presentation of Videonale.Parcours, an exhibition project in the city of Bonn of art students positions.

From 15 February to 7 April 2013 the 14th VIDEONALE will be taking place in the Kunstmuseum Bonn. We now invite all artists to apply for VIDEONALE 14 with a single or multi-channel video work.

Videonale Bonn was launched in 1984 as an international festival and competition of video art that took place every two years. Today, Videonale Bonn is said to be one of the oldest and most renowned festivals for video art in Germany and Europe. It is a platform for emerging and already recognized artists.
